About the Founder & Lead Mathematics Specialist

Samukelo Chris Mavuso is a mathematics educator, researcher, and curriculum specialist with over 7 years of teaching and academic leadership experience across South Africa and the United States. He currently teaches College Algebra at Pima Community College and mathematics at the International School of Tucson.

Chris holds an M.Ed. in Mathematics Education, alongside a Postgraduate Diploma and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics, Science, and Educational Technology. He is also advancing his doctoral studies with a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education, focusing on mathematical reasoning, instructional design, technology-enhanced learning, and student feedback mechanisms.

His professional expertise spans College Algebra, secondary and post-secondary mathematics, rigorous curriculum development, assessment design, and educational technology integration. His instructional frameworks leverage advanced tools, including Desmos, interactive graphing utilities, digital learning platforms, and pedagogical AI integrations.

As a former Head of Mathematics and Technology, a national mathematics examination marker, an NCTM journal peer reviewer, and an active mathematics education researcher, Chris brings an uncompromising standard of mathematical accuracy, pedagogical quality, and instructional clarity to every curriculum and content project.
